Processes

that ensure quality and excellence

Laboratory:

• We are fully equipped to carry out the analyzes that ensure our supplier approval process and to guarantee the safety of the raw materials and ingredients that we receive, as well as to confirm the control of the processes throughout the entire production chain up to the finished product.

• All of our laboratory staff is trained to perform sensory analysis and confirm that our raw material complies with market regulations for marketing canned tuna.

• We are capable of performing more than 400 histamine and salt analyzes daily. Our analytics extend to determination of moisture, pH, fat, protein, ashes.

• We carry out physical-chemical and sensory control of the oils that we use as a means of coverage in our tuna cans, as well as the water that we use for our production.

• We have a laboratory specialized in determining the net weight, drained weight and percentage of crumbs.

• Likewise, we have a microbiology laboratory to release our raw material at reception, in process and our finished product, and to validate our cleaning processes, disinfection in the plant and GMP compliance.

Industrial plant:

• We have a modern structure and equipment that will adapt to the needs of the strictest markets.

• We have a reverse osmosis plant that guarantees that the water that enters our processes complies with regulations and guarantees its potabilization.

• We have ideal vacuum cookers to preserve the conditions of the tuna meat, facilitating the removal of the skin during the cleaning process.

• We stablished a fish cleaning school to ensure that the operating personnel in charge of this important task comply with the client's specifications. (This is not technology, but it is a key part of our process).

• We are capable of working with different references of cans and pouches to meet the requirements of different markets, with the security of offering hermetically sealed products.

• We have different sterilization conditions and overpressure autoclaves that adjust to processes for pouches, easy peel cans, no-drain products, etc.

• Our labeling and cartoning process is aligned to different packaging systems such as sleeves, trays, displays, clusters, and wrap around.

Water plant (PTARI):

• This initiative is part of the environmental model and the work philosophy that the company manages within, whose objective is to minimize the impact of its operations through two strategies: optimizing the consumption of raw materials in the production process and reducing the impact of its residual discharges and emissions to the environment.

• Thanks to a complete aerobic-anaerobic system, which allows the elimination of organic matter through bacteria and other processes, Eurofish ensures the purification of its wastewater, as well as compliance with all current environmental regulations.

• Currently, the wastewater plant is fully operational and its emissions are being monitored under the supervision of environmental agencies, which to date have been able to verify the effectiveness of the equipment and internal processes.
