
EUROFISH
This Business Unit is in charge of manufacturing canned tuna, pouch tuna and other small pelagics for some of the most demanding markets in Europe and Americas. It processes 45.000 MT of tuna annually, and owns a fleet of 21 purse seiners. Additionally, the company has an Integrated Management System, which implies a wide range of quality and process certifications.

TRANSMARINA
This Business Unit is in charge of processing frozen tuna. It is the only company in South America that uses an Ultra-Low Temperature system set at -50ºC throughout the entire process, from the fishing to the storage and dispatch stage. It processes 5.000MT of tuna and other species per year, and owns a fleet of 6 longliners and 5 purse seiners. Moreover, the company has an Integrated Management System, which implies a wide range of quality and process certifications as well as CSR certifications. Together with the WWF, TRANSMARINA leads the FIP (Fishery Improvement Project) in Ecuador, for the longline fishing fleet; pursuing the MSC certificate.

TRANSMARINA PELAGICS
This Business Unit is in charge of processing frozen pelagics at a temperature of -18ºC, through freezing tunnels or IQF. It has the capacity to process up to 3.000 MT per year, for whole fish, in blocks of 10 kilograms.

TRANSMARINA PERU
Transmarina del Perú is an industrial DHC complex for hydro-bilologists, with industrial facilities in Paracas, in the province of Pisco, department of Ica, in Perú. It has a line for preserved and frozen products, as well as dock facilities for the unloading of non-industrial fishing. This Business Unit is projected to be able to process 12.000 MT per year of different species such as Tuna, Giant Squid, Anchoveta, and other fish caught in the area. Its refrigerated warehouses have a capacity of 4.500 MT.

TRANSMARINA FLEET
This group owns the second largest fleet in Ecuador, with purse seines and long liners that supply more than 70% of the fish that is processed in the different production plants. Its long liners fleet guarantees a -60ºC cooling chain from the moment of capture, for Sashimi Quality tuna. The seiner fleet is equipped with an RSW System, which assures the quality of the different products. Each vessel is part of a FIP (Fishing Improvement Program) to obtain the MSC certificate.

TRISTAN
Tristan International is the Commercial Division of Transmarina in California, USA. Founded in 2002, this company imports different species from Transmarina, such as Tuna, Sword fish, Mahi-Mahi and Wahoo. These types of fish are cut according to specifications and sent to Tristan in ultra-deep freezing containers (-50ºC) and normal freezing containers (-25ºC). Tristan then receives, processes, and packs the orders to be picked up and delivered from their HACCP certified facilities, located in Dania Beach, Florida. Such products are distributed to restaurants, wholesalers, distributors and retailers across the United States.

MARINE PROTEIN
Marine Protein applies top technology to process sub products of the fishing industry, elaborating hydrolysates with the highest purity and quality, under an eco-friendly and sustainable approach. We aim to provide complete nutritional solutions for both animal consumption and agricultural use, as well as to reach new market niches.

During the last few decades, the pet food industry has grown in large scale. Consumers have become more aware of the products they give to their pets; due to the modern tendency to humanize them. Many new products have been created with innovative formulas, and perhaps most of them in the wet food category for cats and dogs.
